John Milloy

John Milloy

John currently serves as the Director of the Centre for Public Ethics and Assistant Professor of Public Ethics at Martin Luther University College and is the inaugural Practitioner in Residence in Wilfrid Laurier’s Political Science Department. He is also a lecturer in the University of Waterloo’s Master of Public Service Program.

From 2003 to 2014, John served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario for the riding of Kitchener Centre, holding several Cabinet Posts. Prior to that, he worked on Parliament Hill for several senior Cabinet Ministers, including five years on the Senior Staff of Prime Minister Jean Chrétien.

John holds an Honours B.A. from Carleton University, an M.A. from the London School of Economics and a Doctorate in Modern History from the University of Oxford where he was a Commonwealth Scholar.

John is a board member of several non-profit organizations including Mitacs, the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Foundation and the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging.
